Getting to Padua

From Venice’s Marco Polo airport you can take a bus to the railway station in Mestre and get a direct train to Padua. There are frequent services, some taking as little as 13 minutes.
A ticket on the Eurostar express train costs up to €15 but the local regionale services are much cheaper at €2.85, although the journey time is longer at around 35 minutes.
If you hire a car at Marco Polo airport, take the A27 road, joining the A57 and then the A4 which runs directly to Padua, just over 50 kilometres away.
A taxi from Marco Polo airport to the centre of Padua costs approximately €90.
